With printing prices at a premium, many companies choose to stick to minimal colors in their logo to keep prices as low as possible.
That doesn't mean you have to skimp on style.
This logo would normally cost $200 if I were to have custom designed it for your company. But, like every designer, I have to keep practicing new techniques to improve my skills. Because these have already been designed, I offer a lower price.
